Jas Kalsi

   Jas Kalsi is the owner and a professional guide for Mesquite Ridge Outfitters. He has guided upland game hunts for over ten years. Jas was born and raised in East Africa (Kenya) Nairobi, and then moved to Napa, California in the mid 80’s. In the late 90’s he enlisted in the United States Army and received an Honorable discharge after completing his tour of duty. He moved to Texas to expand his experience in hunting and start a business in hunting and share his professional guiding experience.

Jas has had hunted in just about every different kind of terrain that man has seen. He has been hunting for over 16 years. In addition to hunting, he has been breeding and training German shorthair pointers for the last few years, along with raising upland game birds.

Having kids of his own, Jas is really big on taking the younger generation in to the outdoors.

"Taking a kid hunting and seeing his/her face light up when they shoots his/her first bird is what it is all about."
